We all know Strawberries are delicious to eat (especially when they’re dipped in chocolate and homemade Strawberry jam - Mmmm!), But did you know that they’re also a great way to naturally exfoliate and moisturize the skin.
The natural acids and antioxidants found in Strawberries help to remove dead skin cells that lye on the surface of the skin - that when not removed regularly - can leave your skin dry and dull looking.
Take a look at this quick and easy homemade Straberry Foot Exfoliator that you can do, using ingredients from your very own cupboard! Plus, it leaves your feet feeling smooth and soft in no time!
You’ll Need:
1. Approx. 8-10 Strawberries Mashed
2. 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
3. ½ cup Sugar
Directions:
Mash Strawberries in a bowl (Do not over mash – as Strawberries have a lot of water and will make this paste too watery). Add in 2 Tbsp Olive Oil and ½ cup of Sugar - Mix well. Massage onto your feet - then rinse off with warm water.
**This is a great way to use up your over ripe strawberries without having to throw them out! Yiiippppeeee!
